Some Contact Fields Are Not Getting Updated Through a Cloud App

Information in this document applies to any platform.
One of Eloqua's cloud app's designed to update contact fields seemed to execute properly (no errors in the log, and the contact flowed through the step). However, only some of the fields are updated, while other fields have maintained their original values.
