Downloads And Synchronizations From Oracle Documents Fail, Typically Once 16MB Is Transferred. (Doc ID 2104759.1)

When connected to the customer network, or logged in via the customer VPN, attempting to download files via the Web UI, or synchronize files held on the cloud down to the Desktop Client fails with the following error:

You cannot download "filename" . Only received 16764120 bytes of 82818840 bytes. This problem may be temporary; then try to solve the problem.

The failure is always at or around 16MB's worth of download.

The Desktop client also suffers problems synchronizing files held in the service to the client laptop. Again, the failure occurs around the 16MB mark.

The problem is not evident when the same client machines are used outside the customer network (e.g. when at home and not on VPN).

The issue can be reproduced at will when the client computer is connected to the internet via the customer network and/or VPN.


Due to this issue, business users cannot use the service when on the company network, which is the whole point of the service.
