Duplicates Account Records After Merging Via WebService (Doc ID 2106172.1)

Customer was able to submit merge request via WebService and at first glance it looked like the executed merge was successfull as in UI Customer was able to find the master account and non-master account disappeared.
But when Customer is using getMergeResult method with appropriate SourceSystemReference he gets RequestStatusCode=ERRORED with following error message: An error occurred when running the merge service. Check the server log file for more information.: JBO-26100: An error occurred after commit was performed.
Also by queering the master account via WebService with PartyID=XXXXXXXXXX the WS response is delivering 16 account records- this issue has to be fixed as soon as possible.
