Fusion Absence Management: How to Make Accrual Plan Behave As Per Anniversary Date? (Doc ID 2108969.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

An employee absence year should be defined starting with his hire date instead of a calendar year which is 1/Jan 31/Dec.

Accrual should be given also monthly, at the hire date (for example 10th of every month).

Similarly when the absence year ends, employee's old leave balance should be updated on that hire date (Not 1st Jan), depending on the carry forward or ceiling rule and a new leave balance will be added for the new absence year.

The carry forward and other rules are getting updated on the hire date of the employee, at the end of the year. However, the new accrual every month/year is getting added at the start of the month i.e. 1st of the month.
