Customer Search Field Using Type Ahead Functionality Not Working In Opportunity

When typing the name of the customer in the Opportunity Primary Account field, no results are returned.


The account name should appear after typing the letters

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Simplified UI --> Opportunities --> create a new opportunity --> type the name of the account on the Primary account field
