Contact is Moved to Letter M in the Contacts List after Adding Mr./Mrs. Prefix

When adding a prefix (Mr. / Mrs) to a contact name this will trigger the prefix to be added in front of the name and the contact will be moved in the letter M area confusing the end user.
Can this behavior be changed?
