Activites: Follow-Up Task/Appointment does not adhere to Value Map

When a user creates a Follow up Task from an Appointment or vice versa, the Type field is defaulted to the value from the original Appointment and vice versa.

The Type field is constrained by a copy of the Activity field and has an associated Value Map. This is because there is a different list values for both TASK and APPOINTMENT.

You can see from the attached screen shots (1 & 2) that the Type field should adhere to the following:
Appointment -> Meeting, Out of Office, Phone Call
Task -> Account Maintenance, Attachment, Complaint, Email, Marketing, Phone Call, Quote Request, Spot Quote Request, Technica Maintenance, User Management
When you create a Task from an Appointment or vice versa the Type field should contain only those value which are specified by the value map.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create an Appointment
2. Click Actions > Create Follow-Up Task
3. The Type field is defaulted to the value from the original Appointment
