Symptoms

Error when saving an Account after entering Custom Classification Code:

ERROR

The value for column Classification Code must be a value defined in the lookup type [Custom Classification Type].

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. open an account
2. enter corresponding Classification Code
3. save
