Symptoms
Problem Description:
When users attempt one of the following actions in Oracle Analytics (OAS):
- Save changes to a report located beneath Standard Reports
- Save a report into a folder beneath Company Shared
- Edit or save an agent from a folder beneath Company Shared
- Access OAS after setting the Starting Page to a specific dashboard or My Dashboard
- Save a report into their personal folder (My Folders)
- Select to edit their My Dashboard in their personal folder (My Folders)
- Attempt to save a change in their preferences under My Account (example: changing Time Zone)
- Save customizations inside a dashboard
- Add content to their Favorites
OR
When agents attempt the following action:
- To send to Home Page and Dashboard per this setting under the Destinations section in the agent
An error similar to the following is received:
access denied for user to path /<folder path>
Where <folder path> will be replaced with the path of where the content or modification is attempting to save to.
