How to View Combined Sales of Each Product in BI

Usually in Sales Cloud we have multiple product groups which in turn contain 1 or more products, under the root product hierarchy. There might be a scenario where Top management might want to view the Sales each product group has made.

For example, there are product group P1 and P2 ,that can be included in multiple opportunities, say O1 and O2. From Opportunity O1: revenue generated from product group P1 is $100 and from product Group P2 is $20 .Similarly, from opportunity O2,revenue generated from product group P1 is 50$ and from product group P2 is $40.

Therefore the requirement is, to build a report to see the consolidated sales of product group P1 (i.e. =$100+$50=$150 in this case.)
