Goal

This process is no longer supported. We no longer import customer SSL certificates into Fusion truststore. Please refer to "SSL Certificates Import for Check Printing on Remote Printer (Doc ID 2406398.1)"

When communicating with a HTTPS end point URL such as cloud printer, it may be necessary to download and install SSL certificates from end point URL into default fusion trust store. If this is not done, you may see following exception in bipublisher.log when connecting to end point URL:

bipublisher#11.1.1] !!!!!!! GenericDeliveryListener.onMessage :: DeliveryProcessor.processDelivery exception::[INSTANCE_JOB_ID=1458]::[JOB_ID=1458]::[OUTPUT_ID=1450]::[DELIVERY_ID=1049]::[STATUS=FAILED_DELIVERY]::Error deliver document to printer::Exception happened when calling deliver API::Error deliver document to printer::Exception happened when calling deliver API::oracle.xdo.delivery.DeliveryException: oracle.xdo.delivery.DeliveryException: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested targetoracle.xdo.service.delivery.DeliveryException: oracle.xdo.delivery.DeliveryException: oracle.xdo.delivery.DeliveryException: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target[[

To address invalid certificate path exception, it is necessary to download and install end point SSL certificates into default fusion trust store.
