PJC: Assign Asset (Created In Oracle Fixed Assets) On Manage Capital Assets Page, In Error - 'This Asset Number Already Exists In Oracle Fusion Assets...' (Doc ID 2120463.1)

Goal

On : 11.1.10.0.0 version, Manage Project Costs-Record Capital Asset Costs

An Asset was created manually in Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets using the spreadsheet. While trying to assign this Asset Number to a Capital Project via Manage Capital Asset page throws an error below-

Error
This asset number already exists in Oracle Fusion Assets. You must enter a unique asset number.

Replication Steps
1. Navigate>Projects>Assets>Manage Capital Projects
2. Search the capital project.
3. Select the project Action> Manage Capital Asset
4. Provide the details related to asset name , asset category and provide asset number which already is in posted status in fixed asset.
5. Click on save.
