Applies to:
Oracle Fusion Sales Cloud Service - Version 11.1.11.1.0 to 11.1.11.1.0 [Release 1.0] Information in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
For Release 12, the Macro files have changed. Please use the files and instructions in Document 2229503.1.
This document is for new customers who are getting started with their Oracle Sales Cloud implementations and are following the instructions in the Getting Started with Your Oracle Sales Cloud Implementation guide. It describes how to download and use Microsoft Excel macros designed to simplify the import of small data sets of up to 100 records. The Oracle-provided macros simplify the import by providing validation as you enter your data and populating the values for any attributes that are constant for the simple sales automation use case covered in the guide. The macros generate the .csv file suitable for import using file import. The files can serve as a training tool for imports of large volumes of data later. Different macros are available for key objects, including users and product groups.
Scope
The macros are designed to help customers with the initial import of data of up to 100 records into their test environment. It is a learning tool and not meant to be used for day to day transactional imports or the import of large volumes of data.
