Notifications For Appointments/Tasks Enabled But Not Triggered

Goal

Is it possible to deactivate the notifications for activities just when data are created/modified due to migration/integration? It means that if a user creates/modifies an activity, the notification in this case are enabled.
In other words: Is OSC able to understand if activities are created by users or imported due to migration/integration and to send notification just in the first case?
