Fusion Global HR: Ability to Verify if Contact Already Exists in the System When Adding it During New Hire Process

Is there a functionality that will allow to verify if contact already exists in the system when adding a New Hire?
Something like the same type of validation as it exists for when a user wants to hire a new person, where the system recommends existing employees in a list and can pick one to continue with.
There is an existing similar functionality in the Person Management - Contacts tab - there is a button to "Create from Existing person".
