Custom Product Properties Do Not Appear in Storefront API Response (Doc ID 2132128.1)

Custom product properties added in the Admin UI are not being included in the product JSON response in the storefront, even after a publish of the data.

For example, accessing the http://<storefront-host>/ccstore/v1/products/<product-id> URL will not contain the newly added property. Accessing the http://<admin-host>/ccstore/v1/products/<product-id> URL will correctly show the property.
