Duplicate Line/zonal/regional Manager Issue (Doc ID 2133836.1)

Goal

On : 11.1.10.0.0 version, Global Human Resources

Duplicate Line/zonal/regional manager issue

System has accepted multiple Line/Zonal/Regional manager details due to which duplicate entries are visible on Person Management UI page(while searching for a record).
Even user can’t identify such duplicate records in anyone of the OTBI report considering the fact that custom defined manager type can’t be extracted in OTBI report.

Below are the root causes for the issue :

1) Manual data entry – While entering manager detail, system can accept two values for Zonal manager. Ideally it should pop-up error message for duplicate entry as it does for selecting multiple ‘Line managers’.
2) Bulk Upload – If from bulk upload, HR person has not been able to identify or by mistake he/she has updated same person’s manager twice in same file(let’s say person exist in first row and 10th row in same file) then system accepts such transactions with 6 managers (twice Reporting, Zonal and Regional manager) instead of populating error for the second entry.
