Unable To Import Model Into Configurator Due To Unique Constraint Violation (Doc ID 2133994.1)

Symptoms

A model structure was created in Product Management (PIM).
When attempting to import the model into Configurator (CZ) it fails with a unique constraint violation error.

The Import Product Model program log shows:

Exception: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught:
java.lang.RuntimeException, msg=ORA-00001: unique constraint
(FUSION.CZ_SS_STRUCTURE_COMPONENTS_U1) violated: ORA-00001: unique constraint
(FUSION.CZ_SS_STRUCTURE_COMPONENTS_U1) violated


The issue can be reproduced by executing the following steps:
1. Navigate to  PIM > Configurator Modelling > Manage Snapshot > Select Items and Submit the program (Import Product Model Item)
