Goal

Question:

I have a user-defined field (UDF) set up as a numeric-type field, but it's not sorting in numerical order in Reporting?

I have a user-defined field (UDF) set up as a numeric field, but when I use it in a custom formula, I keep receiving the error: ORA-01722: invalid number... or ORA-01858: a non-numeric character was found where a numeric was expected... -- why?
