Goal

Why the area of responsibility not working as expected when using Org Tree parameters?

When assigning a manager an Area of Responsibility and entering specific parameters like the Department or Business Unit, the Representative is shown as expected on the employee's assignment who is in the respective Business Unit.

However, when doing a similar test, but this time, instead of entering a specific Business Unit, it was entered the Org Tree information that is also linked to the same Business Unit. However, after going to the same employee's assignment to verify that the Representative is displayed, the test failed and no representative was shown.

Steps for Test 1:
1. Configured Org Tree Setting.
2. Flattened File
3. Audited File Successfully to make Org Tree Active
4. Assigned employee (XYZ) Area of Responsibility using Business Unit
5. Viewed assignment of employee within the same Business Unit to confirm employee in #4 above is shown
6. Representative is shown as expected.

Steps for Test 2:
1. Configured Org Tree Setting.
2. Flattened File
3. Audited File Successfully to make Org Tree Active
4. Assigned employee (XYZ) Area of Responsibility using Org Tree
5. Viewed assignment of employee within the same Legal Employer and Business Unit linked to Org Tree settings in #4 above
6. No Representative is shown.
