Inactive Accounts show in Custom Object DCL

On : 18.104.22.168.0 version, Accounts, Contacts, Households
Customer had imported records.
Many of the records were uploaded in error.
Customer had deleted all erroneous records through the UI.
Customer is still able to view these records by way of associated custom objects.
Customer expects that deleted records would not appear in searches.
