Scheduled Integrations Fail To Start If The Scheduled Time Has Passed Even If Already Queued Up (Doc ID 2138549.1)

Last updated on MAY 31, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle BigMachines CPQ Cloud Service - Version 2015 R1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Scheduled integration files get queued up and become ready to run at the scheduled time. As soon as one completes, the next queued up file begins to run.
If any of the scheduled files does not begin running at the scheduled time and the time changes to the next minute, those files will never run even though they were in the queue to be processed.

There are three integration files: Parts, Descriptions, Pricebooks.
There is a daily schedule to integrate all three files at 7:00 PM.
At 7:00:00 PM the Parts file begins running while the other two are still Pending.
The Parts sync completes at 7:00:50 PM, which is when the next sync begins for the Descriptions.
The Descriptions sync does not complete until 7:02:10 PM.
The Pricebooks sync never runs as it is now 7:02 PM and not 7:00 PM, so two minutes passed the scheduled time.

This does not apply to On Demand integrations.
