On : NA version, Analytics
When attempting to publish a new Custom Subject Area (CSA), the following error is encountered.
ERROR
-----------------------
The publication process could not update the Oracle BI EE repository.
The Oracle BI Server returned the error [nQSError: 13064] Coudn't take read only lock on the RPD. Either an online
administration change or a backup operation is already in progress. Please wait for it to finish.. Fix the error, then republish the custom subject area.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigator
2. Application Composer
3. Application = Common
4. Custom Subject Area's
5. Setup Custom Subject Area
6. Publish Custom Subject Area
7. After several minutes, the word 'Error' appears in Status column of Custom Subject Areas
