MDF Claim Approval Getting Submitted Twice

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Upon submitting a MDF claim for approval two notifications are going out. Only upon approving the second one, the claim is getting approved.
1). Login as creator
2). Find existing approved MDF
3). Create a Claim against it. Small amount
4). Sumbit for approval
5). Login as approver and you will see one notification. Click on Approve.
6). Status of Claim does not change
7). Login as approver again and you will see another notification for the same claim. Click on Approve and the claim status will change.
