Configurator Models Icon cannot be removed - Incident is reported (Doc ID 2148664.1)

Symptoms

We are unable to turn off the Configurator Models icon from the Welcome Springboard using Structures in a sandbox mode.

When clicking Save or Save and Close an incident is reported.

Customers have reported two cases where the Configurator Models icon is displayed:
1. The icon is displayed on the home page and investigation shows that the icon has been included in the Product Management Category
2. The icon is displayed within a different category, e.g. Financials.

In both instances the customer does not use Supply Chain Management, specifically Configurator Modelling and the role used for Configurator Modelling (CZ_PRODUCT_CONFIGURATOR_MANAGER_JOB) has not been assigned to the user.
