Symptoms

Using Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (P6 EPPM):

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
P6 (web) Project/EPS views which are created pre r15.x (or later), in the classic (applet) view, are not visible from the standard (HTML5) view.

This can occur under two conditions:
 - Views created in r8.4 or prior releases are not available from the standard view after upgrading to r15.x or later releases.
 - Views created in r15.x or later releases from the EPS/Project classic view are not natively available from the standard view.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
P6 (web) Project/EPS views which are created in the classic (applet) view to be visible from the standard (HTML5) view.

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

If upgrading to a release which has standard/classic pages for Project/EPS:

  1. Create a Project/EPS view in P6
  2. Upgrade to r15.x or later release versions
  3. Login to P6
  4. Load the EPS/Project page
  5. Load the "Standard View" if not already loaded
  6. Select the "Views" dropdown
  7. Select Manage Views
  8. Note that the views created pre-upgrade are not visible.

If creating views which contain both standard/classic pages for Project/EPS:

  1. Login to P6
  2. Load the EPS/Project page
  3. Load the "Classic View" if not already loaded"
  4. Create a view
  5. Load the "Standard View" if not already loaded
  6. Select the "Views" dropdown
  7. Select Manage Views
  8. Note that the view created on the classic view is not available from the standard view.
