Last updated on APRIL 28, 2020

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When setting the additional attribute (flexfield) setting to Y for the work assignment audit object, some descriptive flexfields are populating however other flexfields are not displaying in the audit record PER_ALL_ASSIGNMENTS_M_

For example,  a  flexfield  is configured for ASS_ATTRIBUTE12 against the table PER_ALL_ASSIGNMENTS_M.

There is no data against this field in the audit table however the base table PER_ALL_ASSIGNMENTS_M contains a lot of data in this table.

This issue can be reproduced by following steps :

1. Go to Fusion Environment Release  . Go to Set up and Maintenance
2. Under the Overview Search for manage Audit Policies under " Task Lists and Tasks "
3. Search result is displayed for manage Audit Policies . Click on ' Go to Task '
4. In Manage Audit Policies click on "Configure Business Object Attributes "
5. Under Configure Business Object Attributes drop down select 'HCM Core Processes'
6. Work Assignment Tab Opens . Click on Work Assignment
7. Select the attributes from 'Select and Add Attributes' pop up and
flex fields selected are not seen in in Work Assignment Audited policies tab on the right
