Goal

When customer/partner contacts are modified, customer/partner object workflow does not get triggered

Defined object workflows on customer and partner for object update.
Customers and partners have contacts as child object.

If a customer or partner profiles are modified, the object workflow gets triggered.
When customer/partner contacts are modified and saved, customer/partner object workflow doesn't get triggered.

Building an outbound interface based on SOA composite for data sync between OSC and legacy system.
If a customer or partner contact is modified, the update doesn't trigger customer or partner update workflow that performs an outbound message call.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
If a customer or partner profiles are modified, the object workflow gets triggered.
When customer/partner contacts are modified and saved, customer/partner object workflow should get triggered

If the customers contacts are updated/created and saved from the customer screen, OFD(Client) expects the customer create/update workflow to be triggered.

please advise if this is possible in the current design, that when Contacts object is child of CUSTOMER/PARTNER object,
workflows created for parent object would fire even for the flow of Customer/Partner - Contacts subtab - edit contact
