Territory Not Getting Assigned To Deal Registration (Doc ID 2159035.1)

Symptoms

On : Deal Registration/Territory Assignment

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When you excluded Accounts for a particular Geography dimension, the entire Territory is not being assigned to Deal Registration records, not just the excluded accounts.

Likewise, the included Account list makes the Territory assigned to all Deal Registration records

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Only the excluded Accounts must not be assigned but not the entire territory.

Likewise, only included accounts must be assigned not the entire territory.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Adding an account to be included, makes the territory apply to all DRs.

For example, HLC was set up in geography 53001-53969,54101-54670,54901-54990,60001- 61799 and MOTOROLA was added as a select account.

HLC was getting added to ALL DRs.

Problem 2: Making an account excluded was excluding the territory from all DRs, not just for the account to be excluded.

For example, CHIPSELECT was set up for geography of France and excluded some accounts: ALCATEL-LUCENT, NOKIA, etc… The territory was not getting added to any DRs, even if the accounts were not in the hierarchy of an excluded account.
