Court Order Refund Not Working (Doc ID 2160982.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.10.0.0 version, UK Payroll
 

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Situation where we need to refund a court order payment back to an employee .
The court order should have ended 30th May 2016 - however because there is a known error preventing us adding an end date the balance was adjusted to try to prevent money been taken from the employee
However, payment was taken from the employee in June.

Now we need to refund this payment.

Have used the DEA Adjustment element entry to try to do this. The quick pay results show that DEA adjustment has been processed, but has a null pay value.
The element entry has a negative amount .

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect the negative element to be processed and positive refund be given to the employee.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Add an element entry as override
2. Process QP

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot pay the employee correctly.
