No Password Reset Email is Sent When Attempting to Reset User Passwords

Whenever a password is reset through any mechanism there is no email sent to the user to register a new password.

You may or may not see an error. Example: Unable to reset the password for this account Return code: 83031

This issue occurs whether a user is resetting the password on the site or via the agent console.

When a password is reset an email should be sent to the user's registered email address.

Due to this issue, users cannot see that their passwords have been reset.
