Fusion Global HR: Error When Converting a Pending Worker You Must Enter a Valid Value for the Field Manager ID (Doc ID 2163449.1)

Symptoms

During the conversion process, when attempting to click next after choosing manager name in employment info tab, the following error occurs: "You must enter a valid value for the field Manager ID"
Tried to add another manager, the same issue persists.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Convert a pending worker to new hire employee.
2. Click next after choosing manager name in employment info tab
