Goal

On : 11.1.10.0.0 version, Technology Management - Reports/Analytics

Report is not pulling data consistently

You create a report to capture, among other things, the "Enterprise Hire Date". This is is happening for employees who were rehired. 

Anytime the you try to use a filter on the 'Assignment Status Type' with values like 'Active', 'Inactive' or 'Suspended', the 'Enterprise Hire Date' will return with the wrong date.

However, if you remove the filter for the 'Assignment Status Type', the report will return the correct 'Enterprise Hire Date'.

Here is an example:

Person Number 110344 was originally hired on 06/28/1999. Then was rehired on 03/16/2015
.
When the report is run without a filter on 'Assignment Status Type', the report returns two rows showing the correct hire date as follows:

Assignment Status Type Type Enterprise Person Number

Active

06/28/1999 110344
Inactive 06/28/1999 110344


However, when report is run with a filter of (Assignment Status Type in ('Active', Suspended')), the result is:

Assignment Status Type  Enterprise Hire Date Person Number
Active 03/16/2015 110344
