Cannot Reassign Hire Approval due to error 'The contact relationship country must be equal to one of the worker's work relationship countries'

A hire requires an approval, however we cannot reassign this to the correct person as the system gives us the error:
We cannot reassign it, we cannot edit the worker.
The contact relationship country must be equal to one of the worker's work relationship countries.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Sign in Fusion Global Human Resources Cloud Service
2. Navigate to Approvals
3. Notice system gives above mentioned error.
