Symptoms

On : 11.1.11.1.0 version, Accounts, Contacts, Households

Getting error in performing Post upgrade Tasks

Stage environment is upgraded to R11. As per the R11 what's new document, performed the post-upgrade tasks. Some tasks got upgraded by received error upgrading some tasks. Please refer to the attached document with list of metadata tasks that failed in upgrade.

Error " Upgrade 18 cannot be completed. Your help desk was notified."

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to App Composer > Common > Metadata Manager
2. Click Metadata Upgrade
3. Select the upgrade.
4. Click Upgrade button and the upgrade errors out.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot complete post R11 upgrade tasks and metadata upgrade.
