Information in this document applies to any platform.
When a matrix manager is creating a new goal for an employee or updating an existing goal, the employee is receiving a
the notification which is saying "... by Your Manager".
It can’t be derived directly from the notification that a matrix manager has created the goal.
Now it looks like that the employee is receiving a notification from the hierarchical manager when a goal is created or updated.
Even in the notification itself the "Your manager" terminology is used. This is very confusing for the employee: ‘your manager’ reflects to the line manager and not the matrix manager.
Also the line manager is not informed that the matrix manager has created/update a goal.
