Goal

How does the OOB (out-of-box) Fusion-Taleo integration determine which reference Location to use when creating new Locations in Taleo?

Please note the following about Taleo TEE locations:

  • In Taleo TEE, all Locations are structured in a hierarchy and are associated with a 'Reference Location', sometimes called RSLocation or NetworkLocation
  • Please see "RSLocation List Usage in a Zone" (Doc ID 1665776.1) for how Reference Locations are used in Taleo.
  • For an out-of-box (OOB) Fusion-Taleo integration, new Locations are automatically created in Taleo when the Taleo synchronization processes are run in Fusion.
  • When creating a new Location manually in SmartOrg Administration, the Taleo user specifies the new Location's associated "Reference Location".
