ADFDI errors when trying to open Create Absence Record spreadsheet

When opening the “Create Absence Record” spreadsheet, the following error occurs after login in Excel: ADFDI-05530: unable to initialize worksheet Sheet1. Clicking on details shows the following:
The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error

Clicking on OK, a blank spreadsheet is opened. Click on the Spreadsheet loader ribbon, and click Login. We now get ADFDI-05566: unable to retrieve values for the list binding PVAL003, or for one or more of its dependent lists.

Clicking on OK, the spreadsheet loads, but the batch name is blank.
Employer has an LOV, but absence type and reason don’t have an LOV.
