Information in this document applies to any platform.
Add an image and destination link. On clicking of image, redirect to the site. It is possible in Facebook now. Twitter, it will only display the image.
When Destination URL is added to a post & an image from URL chosen to be shown on post, the Facebook & Google+ have the post description along with the image. However, Twitter post goes out without the description..
The way to ensure that the description is added in Twitter post is - by adding the URL in the post content (instead of Destination URL section) . This forces user to create two different posts with the same content so that the content looks alike on FB as well as TW
- one for Facebook : with URL in Destination URL section
- one for Twitter : with URL in Content section.
