Sales Historical Snapshots exclude Opportunities where the Close Date is changed to the future.
After an Opportunity is already Closed, a Sales Rep later changes the Close Date to a date in the future.
As a result, the "Generate Sales Historical Snapshots" process will not include that Opportunity within the snapshot.
Why is this the case?
From the business perspective, the Revenue is still Won and the Opportunity is in a 'Won' status, therefore, the snapshot should still record these Opportunities, since the Revenue is Won. This is problematic because Sales Reps and management may be seeing inaccurate Won revenue amounts in their Historical Pipeline views.
Shouldn't the Opportunity still be considered "Closed" by the "Generate Sales Historical Snapshots" process, even thought the Close Date was future-dated?
