Data Sync Job Is Queued Even After It Has Been Marked As Completed (Doc ID 2174581.1)

Symptoms

In the datasync project, the job is queued with message "ETL is waiting for jobs to complete" but the mentioned jobs are not found.

The job remains queued and data is not getting loaded into BICS.

You observe this issue usually when you abort a running job; when you abort it, it goes to stopping status , so you manually right click and mark it as completed. That makes the status update to completed but the job continues running in background that is the execution time keeps on increasing and any job you execute after that takes a long time.
