Goal

Salary basis not defaulting from grade rate/ ladder

The salary basis does not default during new hire process, even though it is associated to a grade rate/ grade ladder

If the user has to specify the value, the system should at least display the grade rate value and there should some validation to say that the value entered is not as per the rate - like the warning that comes up when the amount entered is not as per the range. But, there is no warning when the value entered by the user is not as per the rate.

How does one cater to this since the user might not enter the accurate value and with no validation, as it may be subject to typos (data errors).

How do you suggest we progress on this?
