Unable To Create A Style Item In Product Development

Users have defined an Item Class with Variant Attributes in order to create Style Items. The Item class is set as the Default Item Class in PD Connector (Manage Target System task), however, when Converting a Concept to an Item, Style item is not created and only SKU item is created. Additionally, when creating an Item in PD you cannot select a Style Item and if an Item is created in PH but queried in PD the Item appears as SKU and not Style Item.

Users should be able to create a style item via PD.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Fusion application
2. Navigate to Product Management -> Concepts -> Manage Concepts
3. Search for desired Concept -> select and open Concept -> in middle menu select Actions -> Convert to Item

1. Login to Fusion application
2. Navigate to Product Management -> Product Development
3. in upper right menu select '+' -> Item
4. Select Item Class with Variant Attributes assigned

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot convert a concept into an Style Item via PD directly.
