Getting Error Message While Clicking On Save After Add To Cart In Promotion

Symptoms

On : 11.1.11.1.0 version, Accounts

When attempting to add a Product to Promotion Products Sub Tab under Promotion and clicking on 'Add to Cart' button(Standard button ) then clicking on Save,
the following error occurs.

ERROR

You must select a valid product

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. add a Product to Promotion Products Sub Tab under Promotion
2. clicking on 'Add to Cart' button(Standard button )
3. click Save
==> Error occurs

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot add a Product to Promotion Products Sub Tab under Promotion.
