How to Hide Social Definition Properties Within Conversation (Doc ID 2178604.1)

Last updated on APRIL 19, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Social Network Cloud Service - Version 11.1.11.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When Fusion Application's (FAPPS) objects are created and shared with the Oracle Social Network (OSN), the attributes or properties of the FAPPS object are shown in OSN by default. The OSN web client will show a section in gray with the details of the account. In addition there is an entry or update in the social conversation every time an attribute or property is changed. This update will both show in the cList view embedded into FAPPS and the full OSN web client.

Is it possible to prevent Social Object attributes and field updates from being displayed within conversations?
