We have a requirement, such that when a parent account is added to an existing account. Business needs the following:

>Here, Child Account team member should be allowed to see Parent account's all opportunity. How we achieve this?

>OOTB functionality, when a parent account is added to an account, then parent account team member should be able to see all child account's opportunity. This is not happening right now.

>We tried groovy to achieve first requirement, but, we are not able to query the parent id of account.

>when we used SOAP request to query account (find and get), in both responses we couldn't find the associated parent account id.
