Goal
Temporary passwords generated by Oracle Cloud Commerce and relayed to customers via email or over the telephone may be considered problematical because they include punctuation marks, e. g. "/)*&#. Punctuation marks make these temporary passwords harder to relate during telephone interactions. Also, some punctuation marks that are common in American English may not exist or may not be prominent on the keyboards of users outside of the USA.
A customer asked, "Can we configure the product to generate passwords from a limited character set, e. g. 8 characters using only numbers and letters?"
