Fusion Absence Management: Withdrawn Absence Still Shows To Employee As Scheduled Via Self-service

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Employee has absence created, then withdrawn.
Via Time -> Absence Details, the withdrawn absence still shows in the Scheduled Absences section.
It doesn't show on the calendar (correctly), but the employee still sees it as a scheduled absence, so sees conflicting information.
