Unable To Copy Asset From Corporate Book To Tax Book

Symptoms
Ran the Periodic mass copy for Copy to Corporate process to copy to into our Tax book and the asset did not appear.
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Fixed Assets > Assets > Select Tax book
2. Click on Depreciation Infotile and click 'Copy From Corporate'
3. Select Period and click Submit
4. Process ends in warning but asset was not added to the Tax Book.
