Routed Email Traffic Through Third Party Tool is Distorted With Invalid Characters Resulting In Messages Not Processed (Doc ID 2183703.1)

Symptoms

 When attempting to review and approve notification emails , invalid html control characters are inserted into the body responses and subsequently the emails become invalid as Oracle Fusion Application / Oracle SOA Suite are unable to process the responses.

The following invalid email is sent.

Subject: Action Required:Requisition 6000132 Submitted by Firstname Lastname (120.00 GBP)
